my horse is on 1 scoop chaff, 1scoop endurance mix, 1/2 scoop comptition mix, and hand ful of honey oats. and Naf EnerG. and small cup of mollasses once a day &&.... out at day on nearlly baldy paddok an in night with hay(his tummy wont accept hayledge)

&& his poo's arnt completly solid but not badly runny either... do you think something in his feed is causing it or does he need any other suppliment to give him roughage :s ? hes completly fine in himself or am i being fussy an shud i just leave good alone??

can it be linked to him due to be wormed?
any advice apprec :D

AS appylass has said a little more info on youer horse would make it easier to assess what he needs.

I'd reduce the mollases as a cup ful is a lot for one day. Just mix a tablespoon of mollasses and disolve it in some hot water to mix in his feed.

of course... hes 15.3h 9yo connie in medium -heavy work, hense the energy mixes. not over weight atall, im weight conscious with all mine(sp). hes show jumper galore, but hacked well in the week.
erm its more of a small beaker type cup probs equivalent with 150mls
but will deffo reduce that amount now.-maybes the reason!

I would put some hay in the field so he has something to eat through out the day. Agree with the mix a bit of molasses in water, but im not a molasses fan :p

skipped the molases the last 2 days, so wil see how his pooes are tomoz morn,, he has hay in field aswell, but seems to prefere to search for grass. so skips the hay.
