Hiya, My girly has just recovered from Lymphangitis, so yay ! I am however moving her either next weekend or the weekend after to a new home a mile or so away. In our new home she'll be out 24/7 with a shelter. She's in at night at the moment as they both developed mud fever as they were moved to a field with no shelter. But...the yard had two free stables, only choice to bring them in out of ankle deep mud!
Our vet cut down her 16+ mix and upped her alphabeet/chop. Will I need to adjust this again as shes going to be out?
I'm new to lymphangitis, and now I know shes prone I need to be aware - so this is me being aware but I'm not totally sure what I'm aware of?
I've read a thousand articles but sometimes other people who've been there got the t-shirt are simply the best ones to ask.
Oh, she's my old lovely girl - ex polo & now 19.
Cheers y'all...

my stallion has just got over lymphengitis i wasnt aware that there needed to be a change in the diet,iv just kept his diet etc normal, only thing i have done is give him more turnout and bandage his legs at night and it seems to have disapeared,im aware now he can get it if not managed properly,

My mare also suffered from Lymphangitis last year, fortunately she recovered well. I try to keep hard feed to a minimum as I believe its not helpful in relation to horses who may be prone filled legs. I add clivers to her feed and she is stabled overnight in Veredus magnetic boots.
