At the moment she has a scoop of stay power nuts and some chop at night, she's out all the time, but the hay and grass in the field is useless, she's just started eventing at novice. Recently she's started loosing a little top line and feels like she could do with some more energy, recommendations please? (I'd like to start feeding her breakfast, but don't know what!)
Thankyou!

I would split the current feed into 2 and gradually increase it as required and add some micronised linseed to add some quality protein to it, that would be better than totally changing her diet if until now she has been doing well, it is a bit late in the season to be making any major changes.

The obvious thing would be to increase the Staypower Cubes and split into two feeds a day. Make sure the chop you are using is a fairly high calorie one, not just chopped straw.

Linseed does NOT provide high quality protein. It is low in Lysine and to a lesser extent Methionine. It is great for energy ,but as a protein ballancer, rubbish. Use a good hay balancer in the feed.

Daughters was a bit flat in his last ode. My boss told me to try Micro feed and it's really done the job.
You can feed a bit less of it and so it's easier to feed several smaller feeds
