feeding bones

I know breeders of working dogs that now have 3 generations of raw fed dogs, I have seen pupies of about 5 weeks eating a turkey carcas. Bones are brilliant for cleanning teeth I have never had to resort to brushing my dogs teeth!!! Nor having their anal glands cleaned thanks to raw meat and bone diet. So unless it's very young go ahead, if the dog is greedy with food pick a bigger bone, the cow bones are hard but keep them amused and they love the marrow.

I've been feeding bones since my dog was six months, but I remove the marrow as it's too rich for her stomach. Her teeth are in great shape, according to my vet.

Yes I've seen chicken wings/drumsticks/ends of legs and carcasses fed from about 5 weeks too.

I bet Chimo will love it!

Mine just got some bones today, it keeps them amused and out of trouble for a while lol.

Local butcher gives me mine for free. You should hear the crying before they get them, think they were never fed before!!!
