I have taken on a mini shetland with worm damage from a long time ago. It suffers from mild colic every now and then so I am giving bran to help prevent this. It usually gets fast fibre, pro balance, yea Sacc and linseed with a 50ml scoop of bran. However when it is lying on the floor with its legs in the air (literally) I thought a bran mash might be better. So my question is do I need to add more calcium or is the 2.5g in the Pro Balance (that's what the blurb says) enough? I've also considered garlic and fennel but I am guilty of getting carried away with supplements.
Thanks in advance.
