I have a 6 New Forest that I've owned since he was 7mths so I know his history.

In October I spoke with an independent nutritionist and we changed the feed he has to make sure he is getting enough of everything.

He is currently on Speedibeet, lite and lean balance and micronised linseed.
He has kept his weight really well though winter and his coat look fab.

He seems to lack energy though so I'm looking for something to give him a bit of a boost, without blowing his brain or adding calories.
I spoke to the nutritionist again and she suggested feeding Equine America Hemogen Boost.

Does anyone feed this and what are your opinions on it?

Does anyone else recommend anything?

Thanks

Oats work very well. The easily accessed carbs available early in digestive transit enables a much better energy return from any forage also being digested . (research by Tisserand and duplicated by Wolfe)

I used it for my lazy NF when getting him fit for the drift season. I did couple it with spillers competition mix. It had the desired effect (maybe a little too much at times🤭)
