I have an Irish Draught cross, who's feet isn't dry but they seem to just crack at the ends, they are pretty soft but not massively so wanted recommendations for feed which would harden his feet.

Low sugar and starch and high fibre feed with a good quality no iron mineral balancer. Cracking at the end can be a sign of infection so I would use Cleantrax to make sure theres nothing else going on

Do you have a photo? Is he barefoot? Hoof edges normally chip and break off when hooves get a little long. If so a few sessions of roadwork should sort them out.

I can't seem to put a photo up but he is feed on hayledge, 16 plus by dodson and horrell and oats when he needs them. In the day he is put out in the field.
