Feeding for the show season

Does anyone add supplements or change their feeds to help prepare for the upcoming show season.

A lady today told me she feeds linseed from Dec onwards to help the coat, which got me thinking.

I feed the same all year round including Linseed which is esp good for glossy coats.

I feed linseed year round now and my grey's coat is really glossy - which is amazing for a grey

Which linseed do you feed? Ready cooked or do you cook it yourself? Does it add weight?

The charnwood milling micro linseed is cheap. I would question why its so cheap. Seems odd when you can pay the same for 4kg as a 20kg sack.

Not odd in the least! It's the beauty of buying in a larger quantity. One might ask how sellers can get away with charging so much for a tiny quantity.

Charnwood Milling is extremely popular, and used by many people on here, including me.

I understand bulk is cheaper. But I have noticed before that some products you believe are cheaper actually are not as pure. So just wanting to be sure.

No, don't worry about Charnwood Milling, they're good. Good product, good price, good service.

I also buy my indeed from charnwoods, however my mare is retired now but she does well on linseed fed at 1 mug per day alongside her other feed
