Feeding for tissue repair...?

Rage is going in for KS surgery on friday

Is there anything I should be feeding when he comes home to help his body repair itself?

Obviously I will ask the surgeon when we drop him off, but I just wanted to do some research beforehand.

what about something natural like devils claw or echineaca? i would check he can have them and obviously do a bit of reasearch.

MSM is supposed to be good for tissue repair, vet should be able to advise though!

Pro-biotics are meant to be a good idea. At least that's what I was advised when I tore ligaments myself.

I was going to get some pre/pro-biotics to help him recover from the GA anyway.

I was thinking perhaps EquiJewel or Bodybuilder or something to helphim build the muscle back up pronto?

My mare is fed MSM for her ligament injury, its supposed to be good for joint cartilage, tendons and ligaments.

I was recommended NAF Pink Powder when my gelding came home from (both....) his GAs to get his system back to normal again, and to counter act all the antibiotics he was given.

MSM is supposed to be good for soft tissue, and glucosamine would help as well I'm sure.
