Lately I have seen a load of posts on FB about what to feed their horse with ulcers/suspected ulcers.
It got me wondering too, but rather than ask and post the same thing again, I thought I would instead ask where to find the best articles for my own research.
So rather than just positing, and asking for feed recommendations (there will always be bias), I would rather see for myself which is best suited and why.
I have quickly looked at some of the feed companies websites, but obviously they are promoting their own products, and not getting down to the nitty gritty of as to why certain ingredients shouldn't be fed. I have also found that some of the info is a tad contradictory.
So which reports, articles, websites etc are best to look at when trying to find this research? Are there any specialist vets who have published articles? I believe Dr Richard Hepburn is a specialist in ulcers so will see if I can find anything by him.
