Horse has dropped weight recently & although is getting fitter/working a bit harder has dropped more than he should have. He gets all the hay he can eat (has one massive haynet which holds approx 1/2 bale and a small one which holds 3 slices In his yard) and is on high fibre cool mix & chaff. He is rugged accordingly although is not turned out in a field due to various reasons but is out in a wood chip area all day.
Are there any good fattening foods that I can add to his mix other than outshine (which didn't help him last year)? Have been told that Stam or equjewel may be good - any thoughts? Thanks
