feeding linseed to a 3yo?

Would you/is it safe to feed instant linseed to a 3yo?

Yeh how much do you feed is it about a mugful a day? And what brand do you use. I've been feeding Dodson and horrell youngstock mix but is costing a absolute fortune I just need to keep condition on and a shiny coat also planning feeding it to my veteran

I get mine from Charnwood milling online. I add it to alfalfa pellets and speedibeet, soaked with some unmollassed chaff. Great condition wise for a youngster. She's two now so I feed a 200g a day so half a mug full. Don't forget to supplement you vits n mins if not feeding young stock mix as that would have had it in. Try Dodson n horrell daily vits n mins.

Thanks il prob feed it along with a reduced feed of mare and youngstock. He gets hifi no molasses too
