my horse is already on a half measure of Naf magic - its stops him getting anxious (as opposed to 'calming' him).
He is 16, I've just bought him off the girl i'd loaned him from, and since I expect him to pop round SJ + XC courses, sponsored rides, some endurance rides etc, I've started feeding him a joint supplement (currently its synequine - simply cos I had half a tub leftover) but i think as soon as it runs out i'm going to put him on Naf Superflex 5 star.
He was shod this morning and I asked the farriers advice on how i can improve his feet ...... he suggested a hoof-mositeriser (already have this, just frequently forget to paint it it on!) and that i might want to think about using either Naf Profeet or something called "formula for feet".
I suddendly seem to have a lot of lotions & potions to feed him ...... is it okay to mix all these? and do i really need them all ...... I mean I want to look after his joints, feet etc but is all this needed?
Farrier did suggest that if rode him less I might not need all these potions
