Feeding magnesium to calm down the excitable horse

I wouldn't feed Epsom salts it can damage your horses heart if fed every day. Magatude by equine America is cheap and pure mag with out the fillers like most calmers and you get about 6 months supply for around £18. Quite a lot off grass is lacking mag this time off year hence why the horses gets excited cause that's what happens if they are mag defient ( can't spell to save my life) where as cows get staggers.

I also use magnitude. I looked into all the different ways of doing it, including epsom and magnitude is the best one.I looked into epsom and it isn't particularly good for them, not good for the heart.
I get it from supplementsolutions.com really fast delivery and they usually throw in horsey treats too. I think inc p&p it is about £19
It is only effective if there is a magnesium deficiency. Quite often in the early part of the summer there can be a lack of it in the grass. I just give it to mine all year round, a tub lasts 6 months so it doesn't break the bank. It is also good for laminitics apparently.

ets cross posted with monsters lol
