I've been reading about how feeding micronized soya to horses helps build muscle & topline. Does anyone have any experience of this. If so can they recommend who to get it from i.e. does Baileys or Dengie make it? My horse has had gastric ulcers in the past so I have to be a bit careful what I feed him.

My boy is a skinny 3/4 TB, who never really carries as much ondition as I would like. The full fat soya (not sfa as in my original post!) has put condition on him, especially on his neck. He never seems to drop to the point where he look too skinny now.

He's never going to be a porker, but he now looks normal.

Interestingly enough I think he used to have ulcers, but a change of feeding regime, which came about one winter when we had tons of haylage seemed to sort it out. I went from big feeds to virtually no feed and ad lib haylage and it seemed to make all the difference.
