Feeding Oil

I'm sure this question has been asked a million times before.... but.... feeding oil for coat condition and improvement in joint mobility - any advice please ?

I use corn oil for Athena's coat. I normally put 2 - 3 big gluggs in her feed once a day. Having said that the price of corn oil is rocketing at the minute. Does anyone use a cheaper alternative??

Don't know if it is relevant to your question but this might give you a reason why oil is fed sometimes
