Feeding Question

My Chihauhau x JR is a fussy devil and has been eating cooked chicken (can't eat raw) most days recently. He has lost weight and looks healthy and shiney but I am concerned he isn't getting everything he needs on a mostly Chicken only diet. He will eat raw mince but I don't give it to him very often as its fattening.

Any ideas ?

If he eats raw mince, there are varieties available with bone in (not noticeable) which he'll need if he is only getting chicken currently. It's the whole animal simply minced as opposed to pure meat so not necessarily fattening. Feed less if he puts on weight.

Is he deciding what he'll eat because you've let him be fussy? One of mine is fussy and tough crap, he starves if he won't eat something, although salmon oil, natural yoghurt and tinned pilchards all help!

Chicken on its own is not a balanced diet. Try him with other food and bribe with salmon oil on top if necessary. Here's a good starting point of food:
