Feeding supplements to good doer in summer. What feed?

Have you tried just something like Spillers Happy Hoof? Our Shetland can be surprisingly fussy at times but he is currently on some supplements for liver issues and he happily eats them all in Happy Hoof. If the supplements are powdered then I add a bit of water to make sure they stick to the food and I think makes it extra palatable. It's super easy as just one thing to feed but more interesting for them than a standard chaff.

Alfalfa makes her loopy! I managed to get her to eat tonight but it was with a cup of fast fibre and a handful of chaff. I know there isn't much sugar in both but I still feel like it's too much. I thought about the jam sandwich thing but not sure how good that is long term?

Small hand full of well soaked grass nuts, they make a lot of mush from not a lot so sugar will be low same with a small amount of grass chaff but I think the nuts would be better to hide meds in.

Mine don't consider grass nuts tasty enough to hide stuff. I have best success with soaking Baileys - high fibre nuggests (like treat cubes) to hide supplements / medication in.

I have tried grass nuts and hay cobs etc, she found neither tasty enough to hide supplements in, same with grass chaff. She is far too fussy!
