feeding Tarragon to Horses

has anyone got any info on this? my friend has been told to feed it for arthritis as an anti inflamatory, i cant find anything on google about it...

Have you heard anything??

Tarragon That's a new one on me, are you sure she didn't mean Turmeric, which due to a compound called curcumin is a fairly weak prostaglandin inhibitor? Very similar action to feeding 1/10 of a sachet or so of bute, with similar risk of side effects.

ahhh... yes! sorry- tumeric!!

so no good then- her nag is on 2 bute a day and still lame- about 4/10ths with Arthritis- so a scoop of tumeric wont make any difference?!
