This is the first winter with a horse i bought that windsucks, i currently feed him 1/4 scoop of speedibeet, 3/4 scoop of of dengies healthy tummy morning and night with a scoop of settlex in each feed. Hes looking really well at the moment but have been told he came out of last winter looking, not great shall we say! In all honesty i think he was just left out, so thats probably why, but just wanted any advice if i should just up what im feeding him if he starts losing condition or add anything else to his feed? i showjump him nearly every weekend(he will be on holiday for 3 weeks in dec) He also has plenty of energy, hes very keen! Hes in at night, fed plenty haylage, ridden AM then turned out in a good field for rest of the day. Thanks in advance for any tips/advice!
