feeding tumeric?

I feed it in winter to my 25 year old. TBO, he's not stiff anyway, so can't really tell

But I've heard people swear by it and it doesn't do any harm.

I'm not sure how much I use as I measured it a long time ago and now just have a specific scoop. I think it's 15-30ml a day.

I've used this website for all my herbs etc
http://www.cotsherb.co.uk/culinary-herbs-and-spices/ground-spices/turmeric/prod_647.html#

I also use cat's claw for joints and digestion every day.

Favourites also include: clivers, dandelion, fenugreek, milk thistle, mint, hawthorn, red clover, nettle, marigold, chamomile, yarrow, meadowsweet, buckweat, neem leaf.

I have started using in on my horse who has Ringbone. He's had 2 lots of steroid injections. 1st one didn't work, second one was done around the same time I started using Turmeric, he came sound 3 weeks after. Not sure if it was the injection or the Turmeric but I'm not taking him off it as I think it is helping. I give him 15ml twice a day.

I wouldn't of thought so it has a very strong smell. I have a greedy cob and he picked at it the first few days. You can pick up a jar of Asda's own make for 57p. Maybe start off with putting a tiny amount in and then build it up as your horse gets used to the taste.

Thanks! i gave some to my fussy mare tonight and she didn't make a fuss just ate it, so watch this space hoping to see some results over the next few wks :-D x
