Doing a bit of research and looking to compare prices for different feeds!

What do you pay for...

Sugar beet pellets
Mollichaff/chop
Competition Mix (any)
Cool mix (any)
Conditioning Mix (any)
Barley
Oats

Anything else you feed your horses on a regular basis, and what you pay per bag for it?

Really trying to create as broad a comparison as possible!

So it is not just me, my feed used to last a month, but got through a bag of build up in little over a week, this week. Are they short changing us?

Anyway

Buildup- 11
Speedi beet £11
Bailey no 4- about £10

Sugar beet pellets = £7.50 for 25kg
Baileys Everyday High Fibre Cubes = £6ish for 20kg
Oats = £5ish for 20kg
Barley = £9ish for 25kg

I'd suggest that you also need to ask people for the bag weights as well if you want to compare prices as it makes a big difference whether, for example, chaff comes in 12.5kg, 15kg, or 20kg!

very good point TGM!

OK, sugar beet pellets £6 per 20Kg
HiFi £8.20 per 20Kg
HiFi lite £8.95 per 20Kg
Cool Mix £6.85 per 20Kg
Crushed barley £6ish per ummm 15 or 20Kg - sorry

HiFi £9.25 20kg
Cool Mix £5.45 20kg
Speedi-beet £8.30 per bag (dont know the weight on that)
Calm and condition £9.25 per bag
Spillers high fibre cubes £8.40 per 20kg

£5.50 for 20kg of sugar beet pellets, or £6.80 for unmolassed quick-soaking beet.

£7.70ish for 15kg of Graze-On.

£5.40ish for 20kg of high-oil high-fibre nuts.

£16ish for 20kg of micronised linseed.

Think mix is about £6.90ish for 20kg.

too much! £10.95 every week for spillers conditioning cubes, £8ish for speedi beet (every few months in winter) and about £6.00 for a bag of mollichop garlic chaff
