no i dont do it and never would, however i have been told that someone i know has gave their horse a cigarette to eat,she had been told it was good for them, she is only 15yrs and obviously very stupid, but i did google it and it did come up that it is toxic to horses anyone ever heard of this happening.im personally disgusted.

Its not something I would do at all, but the old farmers etc used to give ewes chewing tobbaco - it did help keep worms at bay in the days when there weren't the wormers there are now.

I'm afraid my mare will eat cigarette and rolly ends given half a chance....she was bred by a pipe smoker and really likes the smell and taste of tobacco.
Obviously I don't let her...but she moves fast!

Well, Sidneyflatfoot...she tends not to go to bars, clubs etc (or at least I don't think she does) so smokes outdoors. She will actually try to passively inhale people's cigarettes...
Are you planning to report us?
