How much feed do you feed your horse and how often? My horse has been doing a little less work due to the fact that I cant ride at the moment but seems to be loosing a little weight? He can be fizzy so have to be carefull with his feed but I did not drop the amount i give him.

I feed ad lib hay and he will only eat as much as he wants.

So just wondered what others feed?

my pony isnt doing much at the moment either as i cant ride him, he's just toddling out with the 2 kids that are helping with him, he dropped weight a couple of months back after an injury and due to stress of now being stabled, i feed D & H safe and sound, 1 scoop twice a day, he's put weight back on now and his coat is looking the best it ever has, really good stuff, id highly recommend it.

My TB has been out of work for the last six months. He's normally fed a scoop of hi fi, half a scoop of Spillers conditioning cubes and half a scoop of Spillers slow release energy three times a day (he likes to come in for lunch!).
Now he's not in work I've cut out the slow release energy mix but he's still on the conditioning cubes. I find they don't heat him up but they do help him keep condition. I can easily feed up to three scoops a day of them without him becoming fizzy.
