I have recently been given a 138cm, 16 year old, whos teeth got done today, to ride.
It's teeth were badly worn, and I am wondering what to feed it. I am not sure because even though people have mention "senior cubes" etc. It is still a pony in heavy work and competing every week. Another thing is, he doesn't particularly like coarse mix, he picks his way through it and eats the bits he likes. He is also a very fine pony, so I doubt he will carry that much condition.
When ridden he is very forward going, an extremely good jumper, but not strong, just has his own unique way of going.
Any suggestions about feeding ?
