I have a 15 month yearling that has to be stabled for around 5 days until the vet can come out and do medical checks and a blood test. He cannot go out of the stable at all as the yard owner has said which I'm worried about as I don't want my yearling to become restless or anything. Also do I give him haylage throughout the day as well as the night? Or just his morning feed, and his feed and haylage at night.

As he is in all the time then he should have access to hay or haylage 24/7, cut back the feed a bit if he is getting silly but don't limit his hay as that can lead to problems. I hope he can get turned out soon if the tests are all ok.
