Feel like an itchy mess

I'm not moaning as the weather has been so mild and dry and even sunny some days but I am bring eaten alive by tiny little biters.

They are mainly out early mornings and at dusk omg they are evil but so tiny I can barely see them but I'm covered in bites on my head and face.

They were so bad yesterday I ran indoors to escape them and I must look like I have fleas I'm constantly scratching my head

Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes - a mild day and I get eaten - as happened on Sat - so now Im sporting a number of itchy spots round my hairline and ears and they'll be bothering me for the next few days! I have found jungle formula roll on from Boots is good - but I didnt think Id still be needing it at the end of October!

Yes and they are biting me through my riding tights too. I had to take an antihistamine last night.

So nasty, I had just finished a yard off for someone one day last week and their land owner turned up. I was chatting to them and swear he must have thought i had nits or something. My head was being eaten alive, In the end I had to just apologise and say I had to get away from the midges!
I never ever used to be effected by biting flies until the past few years and its horrible!

A couple of days ago I got bitten on my wrist adjacent to my watch strap. I had to pause the hoof picking out session to whip my watch off as my wrist was ballooning up and cutting off my circulation under my nonyielding metal link watch strap.

Found some 30 months out of date Anthisan ointment which worked brilliantly.

Annoying little biters are everywhere

Horses legs were covered in mosquito like flies yesterday. Horrible things!

Bringing OH boat out of the water on saturday the flies around the waters edge were terrible.

My friend just came round and said she is covered in bites as well.

It seems I am not the only one walking around like an itchy flea bag

Yes same here, dug out a new bottle of Avon skin so soft, just a spritz onto my hand and rub round my ears and forehead keeps the midges away

I sleep with my windows open. So not only have they got my head while bringing in, they have bitten the soles of my feet. It is driving me crazy!

I've taken to wearing my hood when poo picking to prevent my scalp from being munched by little critters
