Ok some people may think this is pathetic BUT my friend who usually takes me to shows has decided to jump bigger so i can no longer go with her as all her shows will be starting at 1.25 and i am still doing BN.

Anyway my last show with her would of been this Sunday but the mechanic fixing her lorry has failed to do so, so that means the show has been cancelled

I am so gutted

Was really looking forward to going as well. Think my friend feels quite bad about it but its not her fault at all its just one of those things but its still gutting to say the least.

Just paid out all my affiliation fees as well, typical!!!

Will need to get sweet talking the parents now to see if they will be kind enough to buy me my own lorry LOL . . yeah right!!

Sorry just needed to air my feelings!!!!

Have got ther number for a transporter up the road but coz the show is quite far i reckon they are gonna charge quite a bit

Oh Kelly, I really feel for you!

Right you need to start asking for a 10 horse horsebox, so that when you ask for a trailer it actually looks like a pretty good deal!!!!

LOL that would be a good option but unfortunatly i have nothing to tow it with!!

If anyone has a nice 3.5 tonne that is free to a good home though you know where i am

What about hiring a horsebox? I used to do that before I got my trailer. You can also even hire 4 x 4's and a trailer. My friend's car and trailer got stollen just before a sponsored ride last year so she hired a 4x4 with a tow bar and a trailer.

Yeah we are still working on Dad (I’m 26, funny hey!) to buy us a 3.5 tonne horsebox! He won’t have any of it though and says that the trailer is perfectly alright! Parent’s who would have them! He, He!

Have got a number for a horsebox but the show is 2 hours away and its gonna be a long old day coz there are 4 qualifiers on so i think its gonna be pretty expensive

Plus dont think my friend will pay out as she only has to wait one more week for the box to be fixed so doesn't see the point in paying out which is fair enough as i wouldn't either if it was the other way round.

I also cant hire a 4x4 and trailer unless i pay someone else to drive as i am in the unfortunate category that has to take a trailer test.

I think i am doomed from competing LOL

What a bummer

It's a shame you're not a few years older as i have a perfectly roadworthy 5.6t wagon sitting doing nothing at home

nope I totally understand that!

I had own transport for years, then friend said was crazy taking both our own transport, got rid of mine, then started going our own ways!

Was going to buy some more transport then new friend on new yard said she wanted company, so I was lucky!

Devasting tho it is, try advertising locally to see if someone needs company at your level, if you dont ask you dont know?
