I know I have everything to look forwards to with my clan, but I was just scanning the BD website to see how much it is going to be to affiliate Grace and saw the name of a girl I used to compete against on Hannah in unaffiliated! I was always placed above this particular person and seeing her out there getting BD points has made me really miss going out competing on Hannah.

It's also made me get my finger out and start getting Grace out rather than keep putting it off again and again!
 
sometimes the standard in unaffiliated is higher than that in affiliated 'cos many people cannot do affil due to so many affil competitions being mid-week - so the competition is fierce at good unaffil venues at the weekend.
If you beat her unaffil you'll beat her affil - just go out there and get organised !!

I know how you feel, its strange to be a bit between horses and feel rather out of it. As my baby is away being schooled and my old boy rather past his prime, Im following the Winter Champs and feeling a bit left out. Keeping fingers crossed for lots of friends but still not the same.

The time will fly by and you'll be out there again before u know it

Thanks everyone... I just felt so disappointed when I saw this person's name. If Hannah hadn't had Troy she would have been affiliated, but I made the decision to have a foal from her and then affiliate her when she comes back into work. I don't regret it one bit, as I have a stunning little man to show for it, but sometimes I miss riding her so much!

I have booked into an unaffil this month (don't think we're ready, but will just go out and have fun no matter what) at Myerscough, P10 and P18 so I'll see how Disgrace gets on in those.

I know I am being very silly...
 
You'll soon be out there doing affiliated, just enjoy your gorgeous little Troy and get Grace out and about! When is Myerscough? I will come an groom for you - my new yard it only 10 mins from there!!
 
I know, I know... I know how daft I sound!

I think Myerscough in on 25th April or something like that. They are only two prelim tests to nothing too exciting I am afraid. I am sending the entries in on Monday morning so there is no turning back after that! I just need to get my arse in gear, and maybe this was the wake up call I needed!
