12 months to the day when I first rode Poppy and had a complete confidence crash, and some 8 months since I last rode her due to stupid nerves - I got back on Poppy this afternoon! It took several attempts to pluck up the courage to get on her, but I did, twice and rode around the yard a couple of times, It felt brilliant!

I have spent the winter leading her out around the fields and have to say this bonding thing does not happen overnight! But we are getting there and fingers crossed here's to riding her more!
