My friend has recently been hunting and competing the fat man XC/SJ. We've decided she is going to do the Milton Keynes 3DE in May.
She has b*lls of steel but little experience on flat or in competition, so have been giving her lessons. Have to say i'm really really enjoying it
She's really making progress with her flat work and this has helped her jumping loads. Did work without stirrups this evening and finished off with grid work.
Didn't think i could get so much pleasure out of helping someone out and planning competitions/fitness work
Finni is obviously loving the jumping and is generally much happier (also partly due to moving to a quieter stable)
Am even getting some enthusiasm back for jumping, myself!
Anyway, her first dressage test is on Sunday - so will keep you posted
Sorry self indulgant
