As title really. Am waiting for the vet to arrive as have noticed my horses eye is starting to have the appearence of a cataract. It seems to going white starting from the corner. I am really worried it is the start of a cataract, as from what I have heard if they develop them later in life there is a risk that it can spread to both eyes. Need really to wait for the vets diagnosis, but obviously am starting to think of worst case scenarios.
My previous horse had one, but he was born with it so never had to adjust to be partially blind as it was the norm for him. I think it is harder if it suddenly happens for a horse.
So.... just sitting here stressing out. Any words of encouragement please??
