im feeling really fed up today - was going to ride in the school but had taken my bridle home to clean yesterday and forgot to bring it up yard - so i did a sort of lunge - in a head collar in the sand school on a big circle - she was quite lame - so im fed up - i think i may have to send her back to her owners as i dont htink she is up to the work i want to do she has a weakness in her front near - but the thought of looking for another fills me with fear and dread - i just want a non spooky forward going straight forward ride 14.2 - 15 hh no bucking rearing nice natured for a bit of pre lim and long distance up to 20miles about once a month but after looking last time at the horses people were selling at ridiculous prices i dont want to go through it again !!!!! sorry to moan but thats how i feel today! What shall i do????
 
Give the cortaflex a chance to kick in - my vet recons it can be up to 6 weeks to get the full effect. If she's the right horse for you its worth sticking with it a bit longer to see if you can get her right.
It sounds like you've got her on loan. Would the owner maybe help with the cost of getting the vet to see if you can identify what the problem is. Then you could decide on the best treatment for her. If it is arthritis there are things that can help.
Don't make any decisions in a hurry.
 
thanks - yes youre right im over reating - i only started the premier flex on thursday - i guess im just feeling sorry for her thinking im asking her to do too much - youre right i do think she is the horse for me i must learn to be more patient - the thing is she hopped round the sand school quite happily and then when i turned her out she cantered off - so maybe shes not in too much pain!!!
