My usual crop of ragwort appeared earlier in the year and because of the baking sun we could only dig it up for about an hour a night. Today has been cooler and after four hours slog we've cleared the lot. Would love to spray to get rid of it but my neighbour doesn't bother with hers until I nag her - the seeds from her ragwort blow right over my fields. Anyone know how to encourage my neighbour to deal with her ragwort? And yes, she does know the dangers as she's very involved with Pony Club.

Glad you managed to clear it. Ragwort is a pain to say the least. Not sure about your neighbour, can she not get the pony club kids to do it for her :D

Thanks Sara, don't think my neighbour would want the Pony Club to know she has a problem with ragwort. In the past she has borrowed their ragforks to get rid of it but she also lets out part of her field to people who don't seem to have a clue how dangerous to horses it can be and it is growing nicely, we've thought about planting a hedge to act as a barrier but obviously that will take time to grow.
