Not much point to this post really! But i have just come over all excited for next year's competing and training! We have been working super hard this year with Tiger and Lola (both 6yo) and they have both come such a long way, its been a hard one, but it seems to be starting to fit into place now - i hardly go a day riding them without coming back without a grin on my face!
Everything is far from perfect, but gives me something to strive towards, and my god do i have the most forgiving, yet challenging ponies to ride- neither give me an inch to get it wrong, but when i get it right.. its lovely, which is just the best feeling in the world!
We have a winter ahead just ticking over and having some fun, keeping the basics sorted, so we can knuckle down in spring and work our butts off! bring it on!
Anyone else feeling excited for something in the future with their neds?
* really random post i know, but i had a brilliant schooling session on tiger earlier in the week, where i didnt get anything *too* wrong, he was responsive and forward and just, well, lovely! so i could then sit there, work on my position and it just was amazing, all of our hard work in lessons (and homework) is paying off slowly, and my instructor is absolutely the best and most supportive of us!
