So my daughter was happily schooling her pony tonight.... Got a little unbalanced on a corner in canter and took a tumble out the side door ... Didn't seem a bad fall- she's certainly had worse.
As she complained of pain in her arm - and she's not a complainer!- I decided a trip to a and e may be best... The upshot is she has an impaction fracture of the humerus
4 weeks in a heavy duty sling and no riding for this time.
I feel so guilty for her falling... I feel like I should of stopped it somehow
Her and the new pony were just starting to really gel and come together as a team... My daughter found confidence she never knew she had!
I sooo hope this hasn't set her back or shaken her confidence and pleasure of riding ...4 weeks is a longtime
Bit of a pointless post really... Just feeling low
