So long story short, got told my mare is lame today by someone.

My instructor hasn't mentioned seeing lameness/unsoundness, she's been stiff a couple times but always better by end of session. I always ask every session because I'm paranoid
I had a vet out for lameness check a month ago because she was bucking and not quite right under saddle, and she went on danillon trial for a couple weeks.
After the trial she was much better under saddle, and we are finally getting somewhere with our schooling, improving every time.

Now Im not too sure if there is still a problem and I need to get it checked again, so was wondering if I could private message people the link to the video and see what you think?

Be careful putting too much heed in other people's comments especially as your instructor who you obviously trust doesn't see an issue. Haven't met a horsey person yet who didn't think they could do a better job with my horses or everyone else's for that matter.
Happy to take a look but would say trust your instructor and vet and more importantly yourself x

I think your instructor would notice if they were any good which you clearly think they are to be asking and using them.
If I listened to every bit of advice about my horses they would have been out down by now! It sounds like you've investigated things and are on the lookout so I'd not worry too much.

I had PE for years. But found they held water and were very very heavy when wet
I'm now a big fan of 1200 denier horse ware and shires. The 1200d is amazingly waterproof and tough

I'm ;happy to look at a video for you, but I have to say that if your instructor hasn't seen a problem, and they are in front of you teaching you, then your horse is probably ok.
Is the person that made the comment a very experienced horse person, who's opinion you trust?
Kx

We always have 'lame' horses at our yard that aren't lame. I swear some people just want you to worry / spend money! If you trust your instructor then they are probably right!

Surely if your horse is better after Danilon (which is an anti-inflammatory/pain-killer) this indicates that there is a pain-related problem? Isn't this the point of doing the trial?

She's been off the danillon over a month now and hasn't regressed to the previous behavior which I was told would happen by the vet if it was something that needed further investigation

I am going to get her checked again, but getting everything else sorted first I.e. back, teeth, saddle

The someone live2ride is talking about is me.

I used to own the horse before her for 6 years. The horse she's talking about doesn't look right behind, her action has changed and she sometimes looks choppy in the hocks. When I rode the horse on sunday she didn't feel right to me either.

Like live2ride has said the horse has improved slightly since the danilon trial behaviour wise and a little bit ridden wise but the horse just doesn't look right behind to me.

Be interesting to see what anyone else thinks when they take a look. Either way I think the vet should be out to re-assess due to something be spotted with her hocks when the horse was first put on the danilon trail, just to make sure theres nothing going on in them.
