Well as some of you know from the last couple of weeks, my recent times with my beloved chap have been pretty stressful to say the least... and I got pretty upset in the days leading up to my move to the new yard on Monday. Anyway, apart from the incident with the new stable door (we won't mention that), he's a different horse! 'The Fidget' has been replaced with a horse calm and happy enough to stand still while I do whatever I need to to his nether regions, even when I bathed a pretty yukky long graze/cut from 'teh door' incident, he shifted his weight, but previously he would have been off, tail swishing squashing me etc. 'The Puller' now walks politely with me wherever, on a nice loose rope, and best of all... I went back upto the yard last night for 10min just to sit on the fence talking to him - had already been up doing everything, so it wasn't a needed visit, it was 'I want to'... and so did he... his new froends in the next door paddock stood 100yds away waiting for him, and he chose to be with me. Total breakthrough. Tonight was yard worming night... the YO (lovely lady) had already got the cavalry together as I had told her he is a total nightmare to worm - we;re talking rearing barging, several assistants etc. Anyway, the 2 lovely girls said no problem, we'll sort him... and... he got wormed. Ungrateful little swine :-P But I've had a far worse reaction brushing his mane! So... all in all, early days, but it looks like the move was the totally right thing for us, I will get him in the school very soon, not riding but lunge etc... so... see how he goes! and if anyone can help me load pics and make a banner signature thing, i'd be really grateful!

I am... mainly down to intraveinous rescue remedy! (you think I'm joking) I pour it, sod the drops! But it's really had a knock on effect, by nature Im not a chickeny person, pretty gutsy, but now I feel far more confident and calm, so he in turn is feeling same, which gives me more confidence, and then in turn him. My god, by the weekend we'll be doing Badminton backwards whilst demonstrating join up! and eating at the same time!

Ok - have a look in the Picture Gallery - there is a sticky thread in there that gives you a step by step guide to posting pictures - you need to have them uploaded to photobucket first - I followed the instructions and managed it so I'm sure you will as I break 'pooters!!
