Feeling Upset

I have just paid my final Rufty bill. Euthanasia. After nearly 70 years of owning horses and 15'years with Rufty I now have no horse. It feels very strange. Rufty was 32 so I have no real regrets only fond memories. He was very thin, had Cushings and arthritis He had a happy summer but I do not think he would have survived the winter .
His end was very peaceful surrounded by several people who loved him. Many tears but it was tim

I am so sorry for your loss and I know how it feels as I am three months in from losing my 29yr old after 25yrs with him and being involved with horses for 50+ years and he was my last one . Its so hard when you lose one at anytime, but when it is your last one , its worse still as your whole lifestyle has changed .
