This is a pointless post - but I need to vent my guitly feelings.

I woke this am to 7 miss calls from my best friend - my phone was still on silent from work and I hadn't thought about it.

She was wardening for a local animal charity - basically a pony got hit by a car 3 times last night, it had no head collar no owner around (this was 12.30am) etc. The police were being useless (as per) and she was left with the prospect of trying to lead (not sure how) a terrified pony about 3 miles to the charities base - she needed me to come with a) a headcollar and b) my trailer. The charity has a stable but as she was wardening there were no staff etc to help her and she couldn't get hold of the manager not that they have a trailer. I feel very very guilty I wasn't there for her or the poor pony.

Thank you for letting me get that out!

She will understand.
Have you heard anything about how the poor pony is this morning?

Thank you!

As far as I know the pony is a bit shaken and a few nasty grazes but ok. I know 3 times!!!! Makes you wonder how people were driving at that time of the night to get it that many times.

Thank you - I think I feel quilty mainly as I was awake - see if I'd been on HHO i'd probably had my phone near me and seen the screen light up - so lesson learn't must spend all night on HHO!
