Hi all,
My horse is on his 10th day of box rest, he is on box rest as a minimum of Friday until he can go to the vets to have scans done, but his feet (well mostly frogs) are going a bit softer than i would like, a back one in particular. Hes also fully shod.
He's on straw bed, i cant change this as yard rules but he's mucked out fully twice a day, no skipping out, no deep littering, but i can't odds that he is still going to stand in poo! I've put a bit of purple spray on the slightly smelly one, smell is all gone now but just wondered if there was any way to protect his feet?!
Never had a horse on box rest before so it's all very new to me! Luckily my horse is a diamond dude and isn't making life too difficult! xx
