FEI bans horse whiskers trimming as of 1 July 2021

BD implementing this from January but no clear guidance on what are the sensory hairs of the ears. I’ve asked the FEI for the wording which I have now received, very helpful clarification from them.

Just wish this would become mandatory for all events, showing is the biggest culprit for encouraging whisker trimming plus all the potions and lotions required to make a horse 'suitable' and 'desirable'

Hallelujah! We are so far behind a lot of the EU countries with this it is embarrassing. So glad it's finally becoming noticed in the UK.

My only worry is shaving my big cob's moustache without accidentally snipping any whiskers ?
