So Tilly cat is on her 2nd lot of medication in the space of a couple of weeks. Had suspected cystitis first time and now on antibiotics as infection markers raised. She is a timid little cat at times and we've had a number of new cats arrive in the neighbour. She's taken to being more of an indoor cat as a result so stress could be a contributory factor. Vet suggested Feliway or similar product. Has anyone had success with these and if so what with please? Not had this problem before but want her to be a happy pussy cat.

We have used Feliway and found it useful in two situations. The first was when we added kittens to the household and an older cat bullied them. They never did like each other, but it helped calm things down. We are now using Feiiway again as our 2 cats (the former kittens) seemed very disturbed after the death of our old dog. They both used to cuddle up with him. It seems to be helping again.

We’ve had success with Feliway and also Pet Remedy.

My previous cat was very nervous and used to get cystitis very easily, once when we put the Christmas tree up! I found Cystophan capsules very beneficial for her as well, she stayed on it as a maintenance dose until I lost her at 16.

Definitely notice a difference when our feliway runs out. I have two stress heads that take it out on eachother and one feliway in a common area keeps the chasing and yelling to normal levels 🙄 (these are siblings who could not possibly be rehomed without eachother). Have used Feliway Classic and the "Friends" version with similar results.

Have you also looked at cat fountains to encourage drinking more and adding more litterboxes in nice quiet places for her? Have several friends with chronic cat-peeing-wrong problems and both those things have helped.
