Went out hunting today on my bosses gorgeous, brilliant, fantastic horse.
A couple of hours in I lent my brilliant horse to the Whipper in as his was on the other side of a barbed wire fence, so I climbed on his horse and set off with the Amateur whip to find a way round.
My stirrups leathers where longer than dressage length and stirrups so wide I could of fitted both my feet into one of them, but thinking we won't be that long didn't change them.
But then I was faced with a tiger trap with a drop on landing. Fine I thought, I know this horse can jump, just no one told me it likes to try to fall over on landing.
Horse forgets to put landing gear out until the last second, some how stops its self landing on his knees but me trying desperately to balance and sit back with far to long stirrups was fired out the side door straight onto my shoulder blades leaving me very winded.
Bless the Amateur Whip jumped straight off his horse to make sure I was alright and once I got my breath back set off to catch the horse who was being a sod.
Apologised to the farmer for scaring his cattle, he was fine with it and once I managed to climb back on set off to find my brilliant horse so I could swap back.
Next week I am not leaving my cobby's back unless to do a gate, she is mine!
