I'm new to fence fiddling and its giving me a constant source of worry about whether I'm getting the balance right.
The grass is about 6" long and good quality, i'm fairly sure that its not been fertilised, has been topped several times this year but hasn't been grazed for several months so has got long. There is quite a bit of clover in patches.
D is currently living out 24/7, how far do you reckon I need to move the fence each night to ensure that she gets enough grass without making herself ill? I want to make her field area bigger so that it doesn't get poached when the wet weather comes but without making her laminitic from moving the fence out too fast.
