I used to fence judge often for my old YO who ran our local pony club when I lived in Essex.

We moved to Notts just over a year ago, and I've gone down south a couple of times to help out, but the journey is a bit much to do in a day if I'm honest.

Am looking to volunteer my services locally if anyone knows of anyone looking for volunteers?

I have emailed Jo at eland lodge, but if anyone knows of anyone else who may want my help, please feel free to let me know.

Many thanks.

Contact the Buntines at BEDE events, they run lots of the BE around the Midlands, or BE have a volunteers Facebook page.

Longford Riding Club are in need of volunteers. They run horseware Ireland qualifiers as well as having an open show, a one day event, team chase, and clearing round days. They are struggling to compete with the big equestrian centres at the moment so are keen for new blood. The website is

They have a Facebook page too.

Ditto Longford if you're the right side of Nott's - they're a really friendly club and need all the help they can to keep going sadly!
