Naughty highland pony is flying over the fencing. it is at least 4ft6in high and she is wearing a rug little devil is 18 years old so should know better
Oh the perils if teaching a pony to jump
have tied electric posts to the permanent fence to make it higher is there anything else I can do I have used tape for fear she catches her feet in it it is about 6ft now

hahaha! naughty little pony! sounds like mine, he jumped a 5 bar gate out hacking a few months ago. i would put up an electric fence infront of the fence, but leave a good gap between them. hopefully she wont even think about it if its wide and high!
good luck!

Take off her rug then she will get zapped and hopefully that will be enough to stop her. Its her rug that is protecting her from the electric fencing. If you can I would give her agood zap.

My highland took to hopping fences as a yearling. He's now started walking through them if he hasn't room for a run up.

Even without the rug she wouldnt get a zap off the fence she clears it by miles I just worry she will get caught in the tape and break her neck. 6ft seems to have held her over night see how she does over the next few days
