Now I know my horse is a wimp and quite daft but his reaction to a removed fencepost this morning verged on hysteria!
Brought him in from the field like a dope on a rope, walked into yard...dope on a rope. Tied him up (to bailer twine thankgod) turned to get the grooming kit and the next thing I know bert is on 2 legs screaming, snorting and absolutely petrifyed!
His nostrils flared and breathing so I though his lungs would explode...I couldn't work out what was wrong....he kept staring at the gate and screaming. Eventually he calmed down and it was only when I was going to the car to get a neck strap I realised a fence post has been removed at the entrance to the yard.
What a completely hysterical reaction, daft sod!
