OK so currently have 2 small welshies & am looking to get a cob of around 14/15hh later in the year. my mare tends push boundrys to test them, as i am now discovering.
have spare cash of £100 at moment (prezzie from my nan) & want to get fencing started, so i can get a full set up of electric fencing from fleabay for just over my free cash amount to create paddocks with (& then teather them for an hour or so when i need to move it) or are their are any good alternitives that will fit in my current budget?

£100 does not go far where fencing is concerned. Electric fencing is very good, so long as the tape is in good nick and the battery is on full charge. So long as they get a bang on the nose from the tape they will leave it alone, but ponies are clever, especially if they are in diet fields and they will constantly test the tape with their whiskers to see if it is on. My shetland has such a thick mane he can press against it without much problem.
