Has any one ever had lessons with them?

I want to treat myself to a couple of really good dressage lessons (there aren't that many great trainers near me).

Do you have to be a certain level to have a lesson with either of them?

I had 2 lessons last year with Maria at the BD South West camp, and she was really good - very nice and very helpful. I don't know about level - I'm working Elementary/Medium and she didn't seem to feel we were not worth bothering with! I'd really recommend her. Also, if you live in the BD SW region, think about doing the camp - it was great and we had excellend trainers (Maria, Hannah Biggs and Tessa Thorne last year). I'm not sure that you have to be a member of BD to do it, although if it is oversubscribed then non-members may lose out first. Let me know if you want more details for this year!

You might struggle to book Ferdi.
Have met Maria and she is very nice, but also have seen Michael teach and he is excellent. Is very clear, gets results but is very sympathetic to the horse. Worth a thought?
